Invisible Thoughts: Living with MS

Becoming invisible is one of the hardest things that I have ever done in my life. It is hard going from the life of the party to a senior citizen overnight. I can’t complain about it though. I just wish that people would just understand that I mean no harm if I come across abrasive when or if they offer help and I decline.

You must understand that I just want to move as long as I can. I know so many that have lost that ability. I don’t want to ever take that for granted. It is crazy how fast life can change. At the age of 35, I learned true empathy and went on a self-discovery trip that took me two years. A lot of crying and a lot of coffee but I figured it out. Try to do better people. Be kinder to one another. You never know what someone is going through.

Remember, you can always become the invisible. It happens to the best of us. I know from experience.
